First Blog Post by: Kellen Davis
Introduction:
Hello, my name is Kellen Davis, I am a Junior at UAF currently pursuing a degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. I am originally from Seattle, Washington but have lived in Fairbanks for the past few years. I prominently listen to hip-hop and EDM but I am open to listening to music from all different genres. I have never played an instrument but the ukulele has always interested me because I have family in Hawaii. If I had a theme song it would probably be Eye of The Tiger because it always gets me fired up and ready to do anything.
My Relationship with Music:
I would describe myself as someone who thoroughly enjoys listening to and experiencing all types of music. Although I have always wanted to learn music and how to play an instrument I unfortunately never have. Live music is my favorite way to experience music so I try to attend as many concerts and shows as I can. recently I have started listening to EDM (Electronic Dance music) and attended a few shows which I have really enjoyed.

ReplyDeleteI love Seattle. I have family there. I have seen some really amazing performances there - mostly dance and theatre. I had never heard of Flume before.
